The Deluxe Queen Suite features impressive blackout curtains that block out light effectively, providing a good night’s sleep. The room offers a cozy space that feels homely, making it a decent spot to unwind after a long day.

There’s a noticeable lack of outdoor windows in some rooms. one guest mentioned an awkward feeling from being confined without fresh air. Also, the extractor fan in the toilet could definitely use some beefing up—it's not quite up to par for comfort. Breakfast lacked clear options, which could leave guests scratching their heads about what's available, and the reception's unpredictability can be quite inconvenient, leading to a confusing experience.

The lack of an elevator posed significant challenges during my stay, especially since I was assigned to the second floor. It was quite exhausting climbing the stairs multiple times a day. Additionally, the air conditioning system was problematic, leaking onto the floor, resulting in discomfort and making the room rather hot at night. Lastly, the breakfast options were somewhat limited, and I found the fruit to be excessively mushy.

I loved how I could check in early and slip right into my super comfy and spacious room! The sun terrace offered a cozy spot to unwind with a great view, and I even enjoyed some peaceful moments. Just a bit of noise from other guests was a minor issue, but it didn't ruin my stay at all! 😊

I had a wonderful stay here! The room was spacious, super clean, and provided amenities like lovely soap and body cream. The highlight was definitely the staff's hospitality. they even prepared a take-away breakfast when we had an early flight, which was such a nice touch. It's just a quick walk to the Douro River, making it easy to explore the area. My only downside was the noise from the breakfast area, but it didn't overshadow my overall experience.
